I have just started a course at my local college and part of the course is learning to type without looking at your fingers. This is known as 'touch typing'. I CAN'T BLOODY DO IT!! I mean what is wrong with looking at the keyboard to see what letter you are hitting? Apart from anything else it slows my speed right down to a pathetic 16wpm where if I look at the keyboard it's something like 35wpm and I don't make anywhere near the same amount of mistakes.

The webmaster isn't a touch typist. He uses about 3-5 fingers when typing, and
has to look at what he is doing. He can generate 20 or so words a minute, give
or take.
