My best friend of 33 years became my boss. As a friend, he is great, as a boss, he SUCKS! He is a clinical person, NOT a business manager. He got this manager position, I needed a job, he hired me. I showed him how to increase his profitability by more than 30%, I showed him how to manage purchasing and manipulate specials from suppliers. I have been there a year, NO RAISE!!! I gave my two-weeks notice yesterday! pitiful
